Abstract

Decree n° 75-111 dated 26 September 1975 pertaining to the commercial, industrial, craft and liberal professions performed by foreigners in the national territory (Official Journal n° 82, 14 October 1975).
This decree tends to implement Ordinance n°66-211 relating to foreign nationals condition in Algeria. It defines the conditions to practice commercial, industrial and artisanal activities in Algeria.

These activities are submitted to the issue of a commercial, artisanal or industrial card, which is delivered by the wali to foreign national residents. This card can be re-appalled in case of false declaration, bankruptcy or conviction. The activity shall be registered in the commercial register.

Foreign nationals have to comply with the profession indicated on their card and on the wilaya register.

The card lasts 2 years, its recondition must be requested to the wali.

Conditions of issue of foreigners’ commercial cards are defined within the inter-ministry by-law of 17 May 1977 implementing provisions of the decree published in the official journal n° 43 of 29-05-1977.
